Our first class together was Latin (hence Italy!) Our first pet together was Hiccup the beta fish!

After graduation, Jen flew out west and Max migrated up north. Literally opposite ends of the country for college!

It became a tradition to celebrate new year’s eve with our high school friends.

We went to Japan in 2015. Max discovered his beloved sweet rice wine and Jen got to meet her idols: Luffy and Zoro.

We were long-distance during college and during Max’s PhD. Max visited Jen in LA and NY and Jen visited Max in Cambridge. We have a lot of miles and Amtrak points!

COVID-19 brought us both home. This was our first time living together for an extended period of time.

After being together for 10 years, Max popped the question during our new year’s eve party!

In 2022, Max started his company in SF! We now hike and explore all the yummy food the city has to offer.
